My friend Ruthie makes the BEST tamales. One day Drew was up at their place working with her husband. When it was time to come home, she sent along a big package of home-made tamales. After we devoured them for supper, Ukiah decided to wash off the corn husks and make corn husk dolls. Aren't they cute??

How fun! I'm going to show my kids the picture, they'll be inspired. They love making new things from old things. Make sure you save one of those dollies, it will be a real treasure 30 years from now.
I'm glad you enjoyed them...I know I did. Making new things from old things IS so much fun. And no worries about those getting tossed away, I am pretty much a packrat when it comes to the boys creations and treasures. I've worked it into our decorating scheme for the house.:)
