We raised two baby squirrels last spring. Stuart and Gribley. Gribley hasn't been seen since last fall but Stuart stuck around until it got pretty cold. He showed up recently on our porch looking for a handout. We were SO glad to know he made it through his first winter.
I'm so glad he survived the winter. That scar on his back tells me maybe he almost didn't.

that is s o precious! I had one that would eat out of my hands when we were growing up...she even brought her babies to me! It was thrilling.
