This is a cardinal painted by Silas. The boys worked on their Nature Notebooks yesterday. Ukiah sketched a tiny Sassafras tree and Silas and Levi drew pictures of the irises. I will have a post about the irises soon...

Silas would much rather be using something that has a motor than painting, but I think it is good to challenge him every now and then. ;) He had a good time but he was finished waaay faster than the rest of us and ready to move on to something else.
